Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi shuts monetary companies and products alternate in India

Xiaomi India spokesperson said on Friday (October 28) that the Chinese smartphone maker has shut down its monetary companies and products alternate in India.

“As part of the annual strategic analysis pronounce and as a response to enhanced focal level on our core alternate companies and products, we closed the Mi Monetary Services and products in March 2022,” the firm spokesperson said.

The firm’s Mi Pay app, which allowed users to impress bill payments and cash transfers, is now not listed among the many known third-gain together Unified Payments Interface (UPI) apps on the National Payments Corporation of India’s (NPCI) internet pages.
