Qualcomm mentioned Tuesday at CES that the firm is working with Microsoft to fabricate personalized augmented-reality chips to encourage the two companies manufacture lightweight augmented-reality glasses.
Qualcomm, which has already developed what it calls its Snapdragon Areas XR Developer Platform, plans to integrate it with Microsoft Mesh, Microsoft’s maintain platform to encourage it assign the “metaverse” that Fb (now Meta) popularized.
