Delhi fog: Dense fog grips capital, reduces visibility no longer up to 25 metres; lots of flights, trains delayed

On Monday morning, fog engulfed Delhi, lowering visibility and bringing severe cool waves with it. Spherical 6 am, visibility in the home dropped to no longer up to 25 metres, and vehicles were seen utilizing with their headlights on. “A complete of 267 trains were cancelled this day due to the fog and various prerequisites. Unless 11 am, a full of 170 trains were working late and out of 170 trains, 91 trains (54%) were working late due to the weather prerequisites,” the Railways acknowledged in a press start, in step with news agency ANI. 

This morning’s minimum temperature at the Safdarjung Observatory used to be 3.8 levels Celsius, somewhat elevated than the 1.9 levels recorded the day earlier than this day. The India Meteorological Department tweeted a satellite image of the fog duvet this morning, which extended from Punjab and northwest Rajasthan to Uttar Pradesh, keeping Haryana and Delhi. The meteorological department predicted on Saturday that cool day prerequisites would persist over northwest India for the next two days.

The cool wave in Delhi has been so intense that its minimum temperature is decrease than that of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand hill stations.

Meteorologists attribute the prolonged cool spell to a immense gap between two western disturbances. For this reason, frigid winds from snow-covered mountains blew over Delhi for a long time frame than fashioned.
