Government faculty builder takes top job at DIO

Mike Green has taken up the role of chief govt of DIO after most fair currently, serving as chief operating officer of the Division for Training and director usual of its operations directorate.

His earlier roles encompass director of enterprise at DfE and Departmental Lead for the response to Grenfell.

From 2012 to 2018 he played a kep fragment in shaping the unusual faculty estate as director responsible of capital works on the Training Ability Funding Company.

In that role, Green navigated the switch from the coalition scrapped £55bn Constructing Faculties for the Future initiative to a streamlined Priority College Constructing Programme.
