Haryana Health Minister tweeted-he doesn’t need 2nd jab of covid vaccine

New Delhi: As the government widened the phase of the Covid-19 vaccination drive all over the nation, Anil Vij- Haryana Health Minister tweeted that he did not need the vaccine as his antibodies are high. 

The drive commenced with Prime Minister Narender Modi as the first beneficiary. He received a shot of Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin at Delhi’s AIIMS this morning. He addressed the nation that all are eligible to take the vaccine without any hesitance.

Around the same time, the Haryana Health Minister tweeted in Hindi- “Today the Corona vaccination drive is beginning for the people. Without any hesitation, you all should take it. I won’t be able to take a jab as, after a Covid infection, my antibody count is 300 which is quite a lot. It might be possible that the trial vaccine I took has some role in it too. And that’s why I don’t need a vaccine right now”. 

Following this, even Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar also refused to opt for the vaccine “My antibodies count is above 100, as I consulted the physician, and she has not advised this as of now”.

In his chain of tweets on the same day, he said- Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the true hero of our nation. He always showed the right way to the country. Even today also, he was the first one to take the Corona vaccine, so that people do not have any misconception. No one should go into the propaganda of the opposition or any false news. Step ahead and take vaccination done. 

Around 11 million people have received one or two doses in the drive that began on January 16’ 2021. Moreover, the Indian government’s target is 300 million by August this year. Get on the safer side and move ahead with vaccination drive.
