India:13 NDRF groups deployed in Kerala & Tamil Nadu amid extraordinarily heavy rainfall alert

As the southwest monsoon rains are lashing the Southern Indian train of Kerala, nine groups of the National Catastrophe Response Force (NDRF) had been deployed in the train, whereas four groups had been deployed in Tamil Nadu, in districts adjoining Kerala. This mobilisation of NDRF groups comes at a time when a in particular heavy rainfall warning has been issued for facets of Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
