New Delhi- On Tuesday, Skoda Auto India had made an announcement that the production of Octavia has been already started in the Aurangabad plant. Soon, Sedan will be making a great comeback later in April after the temporary rolled back ahead of BS6 norms.
This will be the first vehicle that will roll out of the factory with a great feature in celebratory ‘Lava Blue’ shade even donning the Lauren and Klement badge which pays homage to the founder of the company as well as the company’s 125-year history.
Zac Hollis exclaimed that “The Skoda Octavia has always offered a compelling combination of the brand’s emotive design, exquisite interiors, class-leading safety, and intelligent connectivity features, and the all-new iteration pushes the yardstick further.” He even added that as the company and the Indian market it has 20 years long history. He is quite confident that the new Octavia along with the rapidly growing network presence along with the introduction of several initiatives which will help in ensuring that the consumers have quite unmatched ownership experience.
In January 1959, the original Octavia has been rolled out of the factory for the first time. However, this meant to be part of the 8 car portfolio. The company has posted the Second World War and soon it will rise to fame as great rally care as well.
Notably, the name has brought back into the business in 1996 as soon as Skoda joined the VW group. In 2001, it made its shores and since then t has been the household name for most of the enthusiasts. Moreover, the second and third generation of the car has brought more fame and glory to Skoda as more people opted for Czech sedan. The performance versions of the Octavias shipped with the combined unparalleled value proposition along with the pulse racing like none another.
Well, Octavia is the Czech manufacturer’s bestseller that has more than 6.5 million units sold all over the world.
