Lincoln Project spent $300,000 in opposition to Youngkin and favoring McAuliffe

The Lincoln Project, a disgraced anti-Trump political motion committee, funneled virtually $300,000 negatively portraying Republican Virginia gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin and propping up his Democratic opponent Terry McAuliffe.

Records equipped by the Virginia Public Access Project level to $17,100 being spent on pro-McAuliffe efforts and sincere over $280,000 on anti-Youngkin efforts. 

Fixed with the Virginia Public Access Project, anti-Youngkin spending integrated TV advert buys, digital advertisements, and “media production.”

LINCOLN PROJECT ADMITS TO PLANTING FAKE ‘UNITE THE RIGHT’ MEMBERS AT YOUNGKIN RALLY

The Lincoln Project, formed as a counter to historical President Donald Trump in 2019 by disappointed historical Republicans, and mired in a sexual harassment scandal earlier this three hundred and sixty five days, made headlines on Friday when the team admitted to staging a describe-op at a Youngkin rally that portrayed white supremacists as supporting the GOP hopeful.

“On the present time’s demonstration became once our diagram of reminding Virginians what came about in Charlottesville four years up to now, the Republican Event’s embrace of those values, and Glenn Youngkin’s failure to condemn it,” the Lincoln Project said in a press open.

“The Lincoln Project has urge advertisements highlighting the despise unleashed in Charlottesville as effectively as Glenn Youngkin’s persevered failure to denounce Donald Trump’s ‘very fine other folks on either side,'” the team said. “We’ll have the option to proceed to diagram this distinction in broadcast movies, on our social media platforms, and at Youngkin rallies.”

The staged bid became once reported by several data stores as being a legitimate instance of white supremacists supporting Youngkin.

The McAuliffe campaign has denounced the Lincoln Project’s motion, but questions remain about what level of coordination, if any, took fetch 22 situation between the campaign, the Virginia Democratic Event, and the Lincoln Project.

The team has placed advertisements in Virginia attempting to designate Youngkin as racist. 

The Lincoln Project didn’t straight reply to a question for commentary from Fox Records.
