Tokyo- Japan suspects that North Korea has fired two ballistic missiles on Thursday. Officials in Seoul Tokyo and Washington mentioned that this is the first test reported since the time US President Joe Biden took office in January.
Under the United Nations Security Council Resolutions, North Korea’s ballistic missiles were banned. If the launch of the missiles is confirmed, then it will be a new challenge to Biden’s effort towards getting affianced with Pyongyang which so far has been rejected.
As per South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff report around two “unidentified projectiles” were fired into the sea. The missiles were launched from North Korea’s South Hamgyong Province on the Eastern Coast.
The JCS in a statement mentioned, US and South Korean intelligence agencies are now engaged in analyzing the data of the launch for additional info.
For discussing the launches, South Korea’s presidential Blue House will be conveying an emergency meeting National Security Council.
Well, the US officials have no confirmed that North Korea needs to carry out a new projectile launch without providing the information of the quantity or the type of projectile perceived.
Japanese Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga mentioned that the projectiles are basically two ballistic missiles that feel outside the Japanese exclusive economic zone.

Notably, it is Biden’s diplomatic overtures to North Korea that remained unanswered and Pyongyang mentioned that it will not engage unless Washington drops its hostile policies that involve military drills with South Korea.
North Korea has been infuriated by the current joint US-South Korean exercises which actually scaled back in order to get the nuclear talks started.
