Renowned Vedic Scholar Sudhakar Chaturvedi passed away in Bengaluru on 27 February. He was believed to be 122-years-old. Sudhakar Chaturvedi: Sudhakar Chaturvedi was claimed to be born on 20 April 1897 in Kyatsandra near Tumkur as Sudhakar Krishna Rao. He moved to Bengaluru after his father became an inspector in the city with the education. The Gandhian was given the title Chaturvedi for his mastery and expertise over the four Vedas. He was greatly influenced by Mahatma Gandhi and the Arya Samaj movement. He wrote over 50 spiritual books in four languages. He spent his last few years in the teaching of Vedas to young enthusiasts.
