#ShameOnYouAkshayKumar trends as Twitter raises an objection to ‘Laxmmi Bomb’

One more day in India, another new issue to shock upon. After the Tanishq Jewelry brand was blamed for advancing ‘Love Jihad’, presently a specific segment via online media are targetting Bollywood hotshot Akshay Kumar’s new film ‘Laxmmi Bomb’.

On Friday #ShameOnUAkshayKumar began moving on Twitter. Reason? A few fans charge that his film ‘Laxxmi Bomb’ likewise advances love jihad. The trailer shows Akshay Kumar’s character Arif wedded to an apparently Hindu young lady Priya played by Kiara Advani.

High Court legal advisor Prashant Patel Umrao took to Twitter and posted, “Canada Kumar’s film is advancing Love Jihad. Film is Produced By Separatist Shabeena Khan. Content is Hinduphobic (sic),” he posted.

Fans have been requesting a prohibition on the film’s advanced delivery. ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ is scheduled to deliver around Diwali on OTT stage Disney+ Hotstar.

A few others have protested some unacceptable use of the word Laxmi, a Hindu goddess.

A couple of days sooner adornments brand Tanishq needed to pull down its ad as a few had a problem with it and claimed that the advertisement including a Hindu lady and her Muslim relative was advancing adoration jihad.
