Shikhar Dhawan, Rupinder Most enchanting friend Singh, Bhavina Patel amongst 35 athletes conferred Arjuna Award

Indian opening batter Shikhar Dhawan, Tokyo 2020 Paralympics silver medallist Bhavina Patel, and Para shuttler and Noida DM Suhas Yathiraj were amongst the 35 athletes who acquired the accepted Arjuna Award on Saturday. The President of India Ram Nath Kovind on Saturday conferred Nationwide Sports activities Awards to the athletes.

All men’s Hockey India crew members who won the ancient bronze medal in Tokyo 2020 Olympics were awarded Arjun Award other than PR Sreejesh and Manpreet Singh — conferred the Khel Ratna Award.

Arjuna Award for worthy efficiency in Sports activities and Games is given for staunch efficiency over a length of the previous four years and exhibiting qualities of management, sportsmanship and a ability of self-discipline.

The particularly organised award characteristic is being held on the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Nationwide Sports activities Awards are given yearly to recognise and reward excellence in sports.
