SpaceX accepted Dogecoin for launching a satellite named DOGE-1 to the moon

Elon Musk who is running SpaceX is currently accepting the new cryptocurrency Dogecoin for launching its upcoming new satellite named DOGE-1 to the moon. However, DOGE-1 is a Cubesat that acquires “lunar-spatial intelligence” by making use of the onboard cameras and sensors, as per the report.

Notably, the satellite is being developed by the well-known Geometric Energy Corporation and sooner it will be flown on board a Falcon 9 rocket within the first quarter of 2022.

Tom Ochinero, vice president of commercial sales at SpaceX said, “We’re excited to launch DOGE-1 to the Moon!”

In the Saturday Night Live show on TV, the last weekend hosted by Tesla CEO Elon Musk mentioned that Dogecoun that is the fourth-largest cryptocurrency by market value promoted by Musk fell sharply.

However, the trading platform Robinhood even crashed because of the cryptocurrency users. Soon after the vouching for Bitcoin, Elon Musk is now supporting the Dogecoin cryptocurrency which called him “Dogefather”.

Two software engineers Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer invaded the Dogecoin cryptocurrency and decided in creating a payment system. Almost 113 billion coins have also been mined. In amid of the surge in Bitcoin and Ether cryptocurrencies, Dogecoin even surged more than 659 percent this year. Currently, Tesla announced its investment of $1.5 billion in the Bitcoin cryptocurrency.
