Jaguar Land Rover (JLR)’s Open Innovation programme was officially introduced by Tata Consultancy Services and JLR in Tel Aviv. As part of JLR’s Reimagine strategy, the project will promote innovative, disruptive mobility technologies and develop partnerships between JLR and Israeli business organisations, start-ups, scale-ups, investors, and academic institutions.

Since joining together with JLR more than ten years ago, TCS has helped the company succeed in important transformational projects across its value chain, including sustainability and digital services. This most recent agreement will aid in JLR’s Open Innovation program’s expansion to Israel and boost its Reimagine strategy, which aims to hasten the company’s transition to an electric-first, opulent future.

In order to find local technology products and scale them to provide global mobility solutions and services, the programme will make use of TCS’ Co-Innovation Network in Israel. Electrification, connectivity, digital services, metaverse, intelligent enterprise, manufacturing, supply chain, and sustainability will all be topics of discussion.

The plan will be essential for giving us a presence in the area and creating chances for innovation with a variety of innovative Israeli start-ups to help us create pristine and sustainable modern luxury.
