Well, Samsung has signed a deal with Elon musk’s electric car maker Tesla worth $436 million to permit its latest camera modules to be used in cybertruck.
As per the report, the South Korean tech giant will be soon supplying the biggest electric car manufacturer in the US with its camera modules.
Samsung’s camera modules will be soon used by Tesla’s latest electric vehicle which will be unveiled in November 2019.
However, the prototype vehicle has now been highlighted on stage which was not equipped with the conventional rearview mirrors, instead, it was utilized as an array of cameras that are connected to the dashboard’s display.
Notably, the production model may not be all the different from the original prototype and these reports further confirm which Cybertruck will have a mirrorless design. Notably, the partnership between the two companies isn’t new.
Earlier, Samsung has supplied Tesla with the other EV-related technologies before it involves batteries and reports indicate that the new PixCell LED headlamp developed by Samsung will be utilized by Tesla in its near future EVs.
Tesla is believed to have almost 1 million reservations for the Cybertruck at this point. Moreover, Tesla believes to have close to 1 million reservations for the Cybertruck at this point in time.
However, Musk has confirmed that the Tesla Cybertruck which will be equipped with 4-wheel directional steering, resulted in a feature similar to the Hummer EV’s ‘Crab mode.’
