Its CEO Elon Musk has likewise taken steps to move Tesla’s base camp and future projects from the California state to Texas or Nevada. Musk has been pushing to re-open Tesla’s Fremont, California, plant after Alameda region’s wellbeing office said the carmaker must not revive as a result of nearby lockdown measures to control the spread of the coronavirus stays as a result.
