Uttar Pradesh and Chandigarh picture public holiday on 28 November to tag Guru Teg Bahadur Shaheedi Diwas

As per the reports, the Yogi Adityanath-led UP authorities and the Chandigarh administration have launched a public holiday on 28 November to commemorate the martyrdom of the Sikh guru, Guru Teg Bahadur.

In step with a notification issued by the Chandigarh administration, your entire public offices will dwell shut on Monday, 28 November.

Guru Tegh Bahadur used to be the ninth Sikh Guru among the many ten Sikh Gurus in Sikhism.  He gave his lifestyles to offer protection to religion moreover to human values, beliefs, and principles. He famed himself from a young age for his qualities of sacrifice and valour. In step with PIB, he used to be executed on the orders of Mughal ruler Aurangzeb for advocating for the non secular freedom of Kashmiri Pandits. Thanks to his supreme sacrifice, he’s identified as Hind Ki Chaddar.
