Kanpur Chief Scientific Officer Nepal Singh urged that preventive measures possess been taken to curb the spread of the Zika virus.

On being asked regarding the measures taken to curb the spread of the Zika virus, he said, “70-100 groups possess been conducting home to accommodate surveillance work.”
Further, on rising a containment zone, the Kanpur CMO said, “We now possess created a containment zone of three km and the total activities are being achieved in a rightful manner within the zone.”
Telling regarding the sampling process to detect the Zika virus, the CMO said, “We now possess deployed a crew of 50 workers for the sampling work. Till now, we possess sent 1100-1200 samples, out of all experiences of some possess arrived. Day after day sampling of 250-300 is being achieved.”
