awkcc is an awk-to-C transcompiler. It used to be before all the pieces applied by Chris Ramming,
then at Bell Labs, circa 1988.
The intent of this repo is to create the source code of awkcc public for historic
purposes. This code is rarely any longer being extra developed or maintained.
Repo structure
The repo incorporates two snapshots of the source code in the 1998 and
2011 folders. Both snapshots have the whole codebase of awkcc
on the given time. The codebase comprises the fashioned documentation.
