Within the center of this stressful time, my thoughts are with the family contributors of those who’ve tragically passed away. I wish a swift and complete recovery for all who’ve been injured. An ex-gratia of Rs. 2 lakh from PMNRF shall be given to the next of family contributors of every deceased. The injured shall be given Rs 50,000.”
The mishap took place around 12.30 pm on Saturday within the chemical mixing room of the firecracker-making unit within the village. “To start with 9 persons died due to the the explosion and 3 who had been injured had been rushed to Sivakasi Authorities Clinical institution for medicine,” Virudhunagar district Collector V P Jayaseelan modified into as soon as quoted as pronouncing by the PTI.
