Mumbai: Chartered airplane carrying six passengers veers off the runway whereas landing amid heavy rains

A chartered airplane with six passengers and two crew participants aboard, veered off on the Mumbai airport on Thursday (September 14), ensuing from heavy rainfall.

The VSR Ventures Learjet Forty five airplane VT-DBL had departed from Visakhapatnam for Mumbai. The incident took attach on the time the airplane attempted to land on runway 27 on the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Global Airport, acknowledged the Directorate Frequent of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

No casualties were reported.

The Airport Responsibility Officer acknowledged that the airplane skidded off the runway and crashed afterwards on the Home Airport ensuing from heavy rainfall.

The officials acknowledged that three of us who were wounded within the incident, were rushed to scientific institution for cure, as per news company ANI experiences.

The runway has been temporarily closed ensuing from the incident forcing the diversion of flights.

Multiple flights diverted

Two Vistara and one Akasa Airlines flight were diverted towards Bangalore airport, per the officials. An Air India flight coming from Dubai become diverted towards Ahmedabad. Furthermore, a Vistara flight from Dehradun to Mumbai (DED-BOM) has been diverted to Goa Airport.

Five planes occupy landed at Surat airport whereas two flights are restful hovering within the airspace, as per news company ANI experiences.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Global Airport (CSMIA) Spokesperson confirmed that the incident become no longer a shatter and that the airplane had veered off the runway at Mumbai airport.
