The Association of Tennis Mavens (ATP) and Females’s Tennis Association (WTA) on Wednesday suspended the WTA/ATP mixed tournament, scheduled this October in Moscow owing to Russia’s invasion of neighbouring Ukraine which has reportedly left thousands ineffective and homeless. Also, the Global Tennis Federation (ITF) Board has determined to droop the Russian Tennis Federation and Belarus Tennis Federation membership and to withdraw their entries from all ITF world team competitions until extra peek.
This motion follows the cancellation of all ITF tournaments in Russia and Belarus indefinitely. On the other hand, Russia and Belarus tennis avid gamers, including the likes of newly-topped world No. 1 Daniil Medvedev and Andrey Rublev amongst others, will continue to be allowed to compete in world tennis occasions on Tour and on the Mighty Slams, but they’ll “no longer compete under the title or flag of Russia or Belarus until extra peek.”
