FedEx Innovation Lab invests in supply chain solutions provider Floship and creates a business partnership to provide the future of e-commerce

The agreement between FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and Floship, a top provider of circular supply chain solutions for e-commerce firms, is intended to give e-tailers all over the world improved fulfilment and logistics services.

The partnership will develop an end-to-end digitalized fulfilment and return solution with investment from the FedEx Innovation Lab (FIL), improving operational efficiency through ideal inventory management and best-in-class delivery using FedEx services.

Through this cooperation, FedEx’s online shoppers will have access to Floship’s extensive worldwide network of warehouses and robust logistics technology, which will enable them to streamline their e-commerce fulfilment processes. Customers of Floship will also be able to take advantage of FedEx’s broad global networks and wide choice of transportation alternatives to streamline their business processes.


Customers of cross-border e-commerce services from FedEx and Floship across the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa, Europe, and North America will also have access to improved fulfilment, last-mile delivery, and hassle-free returns.

This is FIL’s second investment. FIL makes early-stage investments in developing start-ups, especially in India, in order to provide start-up companies with added value in terms of capabilities and speed to market via FedEx’s worldwide networks, resources, and client base.
