Facebook has rolled out its new Messenger theme for US users. It is a new chat theme with a quick reply bar in the Messenger bar and through this one can send and receive money from anyone although the person is not your Facebook friend.
Now, this chat theme is available on Messenger and Instagram.
Sateesh Kumar Srinivasan, Director of Messaging Product, Messenger mentioned, “Transform the background of your chat into a delightful and fun way to communicate with friends.”
Notably, the new quick reply bar in the Messenger media makes it quite easier to have conversations sparked through cool images or videos without any need to go back to the main chat thread. All you need to do is just tap on the photo or video as well as send a response through the quick reply bar at the bottom of the screen. You can even swipe to exit the full-screen media viewer and head back to their own main chat thread.
Now, Facebook has rolled out the capacity for US Messenger users for leveraging QR codes and payment links whenever they wanted to send or requests money with Facebook Pay as well as if they are not connected on Facebook.
As per social network, “No need to download a separate payment app. Simply share the payment link or allow your friends to scan your QR code to send or request money.”
