Himachal Pradesh election result: Congress wins meeting polls; CM Jai Ram Thakur accepts defeat

The Congress celebration has returned to energy in Himachal Pradesh after securing 40 seats in the 68-member Legislative Assembly. The Bharatiya Janata Occasion (BJP) on the different hand managed to stable most attention-grabbing 25 seats and hundreds of its ministers misplaced their seats, even supposing Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur gained from Seraj for the sixth time.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge congratulated the folks of Himachal Pradesh and celebration workers for the massive electoral success. “I thank the folks and voters of Himachal Pradesh for the victory. I also thank the total leaders and in-fee secretaries who labored hard for the success of the celebration,” Kharge suggested newshounds. 

He added that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s marketing campaign in the hill instruct and Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra helped the celebration dash closer to this victory. 

One at a time, three self sustaining candidates also emerged victorious. Aam Aadmi Occasion (AAP) which had contested on 67 seats, didn’t stable even a single seat. 

CM Thakur licensed the defeat and submitted his resignation to the governor, who licensed it after which dissolved the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly on the advice of the Council of Ministers.

The Indian instruct Himachal Pradesh registered an approximate polling percentage of 75.6 per cent, as per the Election Payment of India (ECI).
