On Wednesday, the technology major IBM introduced a software as a service (SAAS) version of IBM Cloud Pak for Security, aimed at easy adoption of zero-trust security architecture by firms and enterprises.
IBM has also partnered with San Francisco, California-based Zscaler. It is a leading cloud and network security provider and has released new blueprints and plans for common zero trust use cases.
It is more like a framework for modernizing the organization’s overall security faults and problems. It helps them adapt to risks that are emerging from their changing business environment and other business factors.
IBM stated in a recent statement that- it is a critical component of the zero-trust approach to assist companies with simplifying remote work and network security modernization. The new partnership offers clients end-to-end secure access service edge (SASE) by amalgamating both private access and internet access with core technologies from IBM Security, like IBM Security Verify.
“The only way to truly secure today’s digital businesses is to adopt a zero trust security model where validated user identity is combined with business policies for direct access to authorized applications and resources. Our alliance partnership with IBM Security, as part of the Zscaler Zero Trust Ecosystem, is helping organizations and their employees fully embrace working from anywhere while protecting enterprise data,” Jay Chaudhry, chairman, CEO, and founder of Zscaler said in a statement.
Not only this, but the company has also introduced 4 blueprints focusing on preserving customer privacy, better service, hybrid, and efficient remote workforce and reducing the risk of insider threat, and protecting hybrid cloud.
