India: Shraddha Walkar’s father requires loss of life penalty for homicide accused

The lawyer representing the father of Shraddha Walkar – the 27-year-old skool who used to be allegedly murdered by her boyfriend Aaftab Poonawala and her body used to be reduce into 35 pieces in Delhi – has requested for a monitoring of dating apps in bid to withhold criminals away.

Shraddha Walker’s father – Vikas Walkar – also had his bid over dating apps. He told ANI that the capabilities are posing a well-known threat to other folks as criminals can contact victims thru them.

He also requested for the capital punishment for Aftab.

“Aaftab Poonawala must be given capital punishment of hanging for killing my daughter… There must be stern motion in opposition to Poonawala and whosoever used to be focused on the case,” Walkar told reporters in Mumbai after meeting Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

“An inquiry must also be performed in opposition to the police officers of Vasai and Nalasopara and Tulinj police (in Palghar district) for delayed investigation on Shraddha’s criticism. Had they acted presently, my daughter would had been alive now,” he mentioned.
