The Indian embassy in Ottawa said this will launch processing industry, medical and conference visas, starting Thursday.
“Emergency companies and products will proceed to be handled by the Indian Excessive Payment and the consulates in Toronto and Vancouver,” it said.

Alternatively, it mentioned that visa companies and products won’t be available in the market for the next purposes:
- Tourism
- Research (For varsity students)
- Employment
- Cinema
The embassy added that these companies and products would be handled as the circumstances dictate.

The development came after Canada withdrew 41 of its envoys on the ask of the Indian govt, which had sought parity in the presence of diplomats.
