Delhi’s Patiala Dwelling Court on Thursday (Dec 14) despatched four people accused of breaching the protection of Indian parliament a day earlier to seven days of police remand. The fifth accused Lalit Jha, allegedly the mastermind of total breach, used to be arrested on Thursday late evening.
Atul Shrivastava, lawyer for Delhi Police said, “We had requested for 15 days police custody remand which had been belief to be by the courtroom and the courtroom had been form ample to grant seven days police custody remand…”
The remand has been given to the Special Cell of Delhi Police. While the Special Cell had reportedly asked for 15-day remand of the accused, the courtroom as an alternate authorized seven days.
