Madhya Pradesh: Underground tunnel in Narmada Valley collapses, several feared trapped

An underground tunnel, which become for the time being below constructing as share of the Narmada valley project, has collapsed in the Katni district of Madhya Pradesh on Saturday and several other staff are feared trapped in the debris of the collapse.

Authorities and emergency companies and products reached the jam and started conducting rescue operations to attend of us who are trapped in the tunnel. As many as 5 staff delight in been rescued from the tunnel and were despatched to the effectively being facility, while it is believed that four more are light trapped.

Rescue operations are for the time being underway to attend the four staff trapped in the debris of the tunnel. The rescue operations are being supervised by the SP and collector of the district, while the SDRF Katni and Jabalpur teams delight in arrived on the jam.

The authorities delight in commenced the job of making a ratchet to rescue the trapped staff. It is expected that the trapped staff shall be out in the following couple of hours.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has also taken show of the incident. He extra acknowledged that he has discussed the topic and rescue operation with the Collector of Katni over the telephone.

In a tweet, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan acknowledged, “Sad to hear the news about several staff being trapped in the underground tunnel constructing jam. Relieved that 3 out of the 9 staff delight in been rescued. Rescue operations are light underway.”
