Pennsylvania man pinned down by dwelling-proprietor’s pitbull until police advance

A 9-yr-former rescue dogs named “Spuds” rescued his family from an alleged intrusion at their Pennsylvania dwelling by attacking the man and helping restrain him until police arrived. 

The pitbull’s proprietor, Leroy Rucker, said, “Spuds is a protector.”

On March 24, Spud proved his fancy for his proprietor by maintaining them from the alleged trespasser

“I used to be ultimate sitting in here staring at TV and YouTube with the dogs fancy I continuously assemble,” Rucker recalled to Fox 8 in a contemporary interview.

That is when 53-yr-former Robert Burke Jr. allegedly came bursting by scheme of the door. The homeowners and their beloved dogs, Spud, fast jumped to motion.

Rucker said Spuds helped restrain the man for 20 minutes until law enforcement arrived.

In accordance with court docket documents, Burke is being arraigned to Blair County Prison on prices of burglary, prison trespass, easy assault and harassment. His next court docket date is scheduled for Might per chance 13 with $50,000 bail.

“For them, it’s safety. For me, its fancy,” Rucker told Fox 8.
