The next model of IPL will look two original corporates with deep pockets enter the league with original teams – Ahmedabad and Lucknow as the cash-affluent league will now be a ten-crew affair from the next season.
The bidding took situation on the Taj Hotel in Dubai on Monday (October 25) and it is the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Community (RPSG) (Lucknow) and CVC Capital Companions (Ahmedabad) who will join the cash-affluent league as the original house owners, confirmed BCCI.
RPSG Community placed a mumble of Rs 7,090 crores for the Lucknow crew, whereas CVC supplied the Ahmedabad franchise for Rs 5,625 crores.

Notably, since the starting, IPL teams enjoy been owned by conglomerates of India Inc, and this tradition is maintained as each corporates are known to enjoy deep pockets.
The original owner of the Lucknow crew is RPSG Community which used to be established in its fresh salvage in 2011. The neighborhood has pursuits in energy, carbon shaded, ITES, user retail, media and leisure, sports, education, infrastructure, and plantations.
It had a revenue of Rs 26,634 crore as on March 31, 2021 and cross sources worth Rs 47,400 crore.
