Wildfires in Hawaii personal devastated the ancient metropolis of Lahaina, the venerable capital of the islands when they were an neutral kingdom.
Hawaii Sen. Brian Schatz, who surveyed the wreck, talked about the metropolis had been “diminished to ashes.” Though the blaze in Lahaina is 80% contained, there would possibly be unruffled an active fire. The metropolis remains without power.
