WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. Senate Republican Chief Mitch McConnell urged the Biden administration on Tuesday to reassess its nomination of privacy expert Alvaro Bedoya to the U.S. Federal Alternate Charge, presumably extending the Democrats’ inability to obtain retain a watch on of the agency.

In a floor speech, McConnell said of Bedoya: “He is an actually silly desire – silly – when the American folks handed this administration a 50-50 Senate.
