Weather Change: IMD factors warning signals in Maharashtra; predicts heavy rainfall in Mumbai, Pune & Thane

On Tuesday (June 27), the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued yellow and orange signals in Maharashtra indicating the opportunity of heavy rainfall. The IMD Mumbai talked about, “Moderate rain within the metropolis and suburbs. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is extremely likely at isolated locations.”

Furthermore, the Met division also announced that the southwest monsoon has evolved over Mumbai and Delhi, Instances of India reported citing ANI inputs.

The division factors an orange alert for Thane, Pune, Nashik, Satara, Raigad and Ratnagiri.

It also issued a yellow alert for Mumbai, Palghar, and Sindhudurg, indicating caution concerning the climate prerequisites in these years.

The division used to be compelled to field an alert in Ratnagiri and Raigad previously after several cities in Maharashtra witnessed heavy rainfall.

The signals come as IMD scientist Soma Sen advised ANI, “The monsoon is energetic currently with its mercurial advancement within the supreme 4-5 days.
